Bangladesh Hindu Samaj is a registered, non-political, and non-governmental organization formed with a single purpose—to unite, protect, and uplift the Hindu community across Bangladesh. We work tirelessly to raise public awareness against persecution, support victims of violence and injustice, and strengthen the social and economic backbone of our community.
What We Stand For

Many individuals across the country face discrimination, poverty, or displacement, leaving them without adequate support. Community Heritage & Structural Protection
One of our important focus areas is the protection and revival of neglected Debottor (religious trust) properties. These lands and institutions often fall into misuse, mismanagement, or illegal occupation due to the absence of active guardianship. We work with local committees, trusts, and community leaders to restore, legally document, and manage these assets transparently. By doing so, we ensure that heritage properties benefit the community rather than being lost to misuse.
Economic Empowerment & Livelihood Development
We believe that economic stability is the strongest foundation for long-term community resilience. Our livelihood programs aim to create employment for poor and vulnerable families through training, skills development, and micro-enterprise support. By collaborating with local entrepreneurs, investors, and community trusts, we help set up small-scale, franchise-style projects that generate income and promote self-reliance. These initiatives not only uplift families but also stimulate sustainable local economies.
Legal Aid, Protection & Human Rights Support
Many in our community face violence, harassment, or systemic discrimination but lack the resources or knowledge to seek justice. To bridge this gap, we offer free or subsidized legal aid through our volunteer lawyers and partner organizations. We support victims with case documentation, legal follow-up, and—when their safety is at risk—relocation to secure environments. Alongside this, we run advocacy programs, media outreach, and public-awareness campaigns to challenge systemic injustice and build stronger public opinion against persecution.
